On 24 August 2026, 1Pay.pk, a payment aggregation and technology brand of Setlexor Services (Private) Limited, published new merchant operating guidance focused on reconciliation and settlement visibility. The guidance does not create new settlement rules; it organizes existing transaction, reporting and escalation responsibilities into a traceable operating process.

A customer-facing success message answers whether an order can continue, but it does not by itself explain what amount will be settled, when the settlement will occur or how later adjustments will appear. Merchants therefore need connected records across their order system, payment interface, provider reports and bank activity.

The company recommends preserving both the merchant’s order number and the payment reference associated with every attempt. Those identifiers allow support, finance and technical teams to discuss the same event when a customer retries a payment, receives an uncertain result, requests a refund or raises a dispute after fulfilment.

Transaction status should also be recorded as a changing state rather than a permanent label captured from the browser. A merchant may need to distinguish an initiated attempt from an authorized, failed, cancelled, reversed or otherwise unresolved transaction and should rely on the confirmed status supplied through the relevant payment arrangement before taking irreversible fulfilment action.

Settlement review then connects gross payment activity with deductions and later movements. The merchant should be able to identify the payment amount, applicable fees and taxes, refunds, reversals, disputes or chargebacks, the resulting net amount and the settlement record through which that net amount is expected to reach the nominated account.

“Payments create obligations for several teams after the customer leaves the checkout,” said Arshad Syed Muhammad, Founder and CEO of 1Pay.pk. “Reconciliation works best when every team uses the same references and when a merchant can trace the movement from the original order to the transaction record and then to the applicable settlement entry.”

1Pay.pk’s published settlement terms explain that settlement is performed through the relevant payment partners and financial institutions connected to the platform. They also note that schedules may vary with the payment method, banking calendar, compliance review, fraud investigation, dispute activity, regulatory requirement and circumstances outside the technology provider’s control.

The guidance separates reporting visibility from custody of funds. 1Pay.pk may provide merchant interfaces, transaction information and reconciliation tools under an approved arrangement, but it is not a bank, wallet operator, electronic money institution, payment system operator, payment service provider or independently licensed financial institution and does not present a merchant dashboard as a bank account.

1Pay.pk delivers payment aggregation and technology through arrangements with supported payment-channel providers. Regulated transaction processing, acquiring, wallet and settlement services are performed by the relevant licensed partners, and their applicable rules and merchant arrangements govern the final processing and settlement outcome.

Access control is another part of post-payment operations because transaction reports can contain customer and commercial information. The company advises merchants to restrict dashboard and report access to authorized personnel, review user permissions when responsibilities change and handle exported records according to applicable obligations and the company’s privacy information.

The guidance does not promise a fixed settlement time or a particular processing outcome. Its purpose is to help merchants identify the records, owners and escalation routes needed to investigate differences promptly and to evaluate a payment provider on the quality of the full operating process, not only the appearance of its checkout.
