Americas Cardroom is bringing the Venom Vault back for August, giving every eligible player a free chance to unlock a guaranteed prize. The promotion runs through August 30 and includes Survivor Flip Step tickets as well as a $2,650 seat that can be used for either of the upcoming Mystery Bounty Venoms.
Those two events represent the biggest destination on the other side of the Vault. The $12 Million GTD No-Limit Hold'em Mystery Bounty Venom and $3 Million GTD Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty Venom combine for $15 million in guarantees.
The No-Limit Hold'em edition features a $500,000 top bounty, while the Pot-Limit Omaha edition offers a $250,000 top bounty. Both tournaments have eight Day 1 flights, and every player who reaches Day 2 is already in the money. Minimum bounties are $5,000 in both events.
The Vault itself is straightforward. Players can find it under My Account in the poker client, use a key, select a door and reveal the prize awarded to that key. Every key produces one guaranteed prize, with Survivor Flip Step tickets ranging from $0.80 to $350 among the available rewards.
The first key is free for eligible players. More can be purchased for $2.99 each, exchanged for 300 Combat Points or earned through challenges. Those challenges cover tournament play, cash games, Blitz Poker, consecutive days of real-money action, referrals and specific poker-hand achievements.
The promotion also returns with a substantial history. Across six previous runs, the Venom Vault awarded 459,499 prizes, including 188 direct Venom entries. Most of the remaining prizes were Survivor Flip Step tickets that moved players onto the qualifying ladder.
Any $2,650 seat awarded through the Vault is initially issued for Day 1B on Sunday, August 16. It can be moved to another remaining eligible Day 1 if it is not used for that flight. The Venom Vault remains open through Sunday, August 30.
