Utah families can celebrate with free mini plates, spam musubi samples and the spirit of ‘Ohana

East Draper Gets a Taste of the Islands as Mo' Bettahs Opens 67th LocationSalt Lake City, UT  (RestaurantNews.comMo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food, is deepening its roots in Utah, bringing the spirit of ‘Aloha’ to more families with its newest location in East Draper opening on Friday, Sept. 19. The new restaurant, located at 1257 Draper Parkway, marks a significant milestone for Mo’ Bettahs, as the brand expands to 33 locations in Utah and 67 nationwide.

Grand opening festivities kick off with a Friends & ‘Ohana Pre-Opening Event on Thursday, Sept. 18. From 5 to 7 p.m. MT, Co-founders Kimo and Kalani Mack will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. and attendees can enjoy a free mini plate and drink during dinner, sample other Mo’ Bettahs treats like spam musubi and collect exclusive Mo’ Bettahs swag.

“We’re eager for the Draper location to share Hawaii as the locals know it, rooted in aloha, ‘Ohana and traditions, with even more communities in Utah,” said co-founder Kimo Mack. “Every Mo’ Bettahs is meant to feel like those family gatherings we grew up with on Ohana – where food, stories and connection flow together. With each new opening, we’re honored to expand our ‘Ohana and share that authentic island experience with more families and friends.”

Following the grand opening weekend, guests can join the Makana Rewards program to receive a free mini plate after their first purchase.

Mo’ Bettahs transports guests straight to the islands with its fresh, Hawaiian-style food, including traditional favorites like grilled teriyaki chicken or steak, kalua pig, katsu chicken, shrimp tempura, macaroni salad and steamed rice.
