LONGUEUIL, QC, Sept. 23, 2026 /CNW/ -- NASA and SpaceX are now targeting 11:10 a.m. on October 1 as the earliest launch opportunity for the Crew-13 mission in which Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Colonel Joshua Kutryk will participate.

Media are invited to take part in a virtual question-and-answer session with Joshua Kutryk on September 24 at 10:00 am. This will be the last opportunity for media to speak with him before the launch.

Joshua Kutryk will be the fourth CSA astronaut to go on a long-duration mission aboard the International Space Station and the first to go to space as part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program. While aboard the Station for approximately six months, he will conduct scientific research and test new technologies.

Media who wish to participate must register by emailing the CSA's Media Relations Office (asc.medias-media.csa@asc-csa.gc.ca). Registered journalists will receive a Teams link and instructions.
