LONGUEUIL, QC, Oct. 28, 2026 /CNW/ -- Media are invited to a press conference on October 30, 2026, with Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Colonel Joshua Kutryk following his first spacewalk outside the International Space Station. Joshua will share his experience and answer questions from media. He is the fifth CSA astronaut in history to conduct a spacewalk.

The press conference will be hosted by CSA astronaut David Saint-Jacques with the Honourable Eleanor Olszewski, Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada also participating. Journalists joining remotely via Teams will be able to submit a written question.

All media must present their press card at the gate and again at the reception desk. We recommend arriving early to avoid security-related delays, and because the space-to-Earth connection with Joshua Kutryk will take place on a set schedule.

Media who wish to participate remotely must register by emailing the CSA's Media Relations Office. Registered journalists will receive a Teams link and instructions.

If you have any questions about the various mission-related events, or if you would like to do an on-site interview with a CSA expert, please contact the Media Relations Office.
